Silent Night

2018 marked the 200th anniversary of the first public performance of the song Silent Night. The three Austrian provinces where the song was originated celebrated this occasion together. Special exhibitions and countless events took place at the various Silent Night locations to celebrate the jubilee.

The exhibitions were accompanied by technology to create a festive and contemporary anniversary at the same time. Therefore, xamoom developed the Silent Night app, connecting the real world with the smartphone using QR, NFC and iBeacons.

The app helped to explore the picturesque villages, towns, and other unique places across the three provinces which communicate the magic of the Silent Night.
