For Forest

“For Forest, the unending attraction of nature” was Austria’s most significant art project in 2019. Klaus Littmann’s installation of a forest in Klagenfurt’s football stadium aims to draw attention to climate change and deforestation worldwide. A dystopian painting of Max Peintner was the inspiraton for this art intervention.

Between September 8th and October 27th, 2019, more than 200,000 people visited the installation. The world’s media reported about the memorial to do more against climate change and monocultures.

For the many visitors, information logistics was a big challenge to the project that was addressed by xamoom’s mobile solution. It offered all the information about the project and practical knowledge for visitors in apps for iPhones and Android as well as on the mobile web.
